A part of the sand dunes (“Dunas de Maspalomas”) are a well known gay cruising area.
Men linger in the areas off the main foot path roughly linking the Rio hotel in the north with the southern tip of the island and the gay beach.
To find the popular cruising spots, follow the marked path from either side to roughly the place where the map marker is.
Typical audience
Most people visiting Dunas de Maspalomas are casually dressed gay men.
