If you’re planning a holiday on Gran Canaria and want to visit the gay bars, clubs and beaches, you should stay in Playa del Inglés, the beach resort on the south side of the Spanish island, which is part of the tourist town Maspalomas. You will find most gay bars and other gay-friendly venues near the Yumbo Centrum shopping centre, where a large gay pride festival is taking place every May as well as the Maspalomas Winter Pride in November.

The gay-only and gay-friendly hotels and resorts of Gran Canaria are also mostly located in Playa del Inglés.
