We did a big update of our Maspalomas gay guide, adding many more gay bars, clubs, restaurants, accommodation and more.

Due to its climate, Gran Canaria is an amazing holiday destination all year round. The island is part of Spain, but geographically closer to Africa. LGBTQ+ travellers love to visit the town Maspalomas and more specifically the restort Playa del Inglés in the very south of the island due to the vast range of gay-friendly hotels, restaurants and, of course, the many gay bars, cruise clubs, drag shows, as well as the gay beach.

We have now listed well over 30 of the best LGBT-related locations in Maspalomas with many new photos added, updated super-precise location data for most venues.

Forget all the complicated descriptions on other websites how to get to the gay cruising area in the sand dunes. Just follow our short description and map marker.

Don’t forget, Maspalomas hosts two main pride events a year, including the upcoming Winter Pride 2022. However, the next big event in the gay resort around the Yumbo Center is Maspalomas Fetish Pride in October 2022.

If you decide to visit, don’t forget to rate all the places and add some comments, so other travellers know what to expect! Have fun!

With the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic still in full swing, many of us will probably have had their travel plans cut short. The tourism and hospitality industry is suffering, including many gay bars, clubs, hotels, bed & breakfasts and other LGBT venues, that rely on gay tourists from around the world.

This Flokk (forum) is to share your plans, tips and experiences about local and international travelling as LGBTQ people. If you have a question, this is the place to ask the community.

To kick things off, let us know how you feel about going on holiday this summer. Are you going abroad? Are you worried about the risks?
